Proximity construction opened their doors June 18, 2012 in the small town of Mount Olive, IL. The owner of the company, Justin R. Fank, has many years of construction experience that started with a bedroom addition in his mother’s house in the mid-90's.

“I started in the world of construction at the age of 14. It first began with taking a 3 season room on the back of my mom’s house and making it a master bedroom, with a roomy closet, and a mudroom. I helped 2 friends of mom as they did the remodel and bugged them with lots of questions while they put me to work. It helped that one of the friends was an Architect. From there it went to helping with other projects from helping renovate mom’s horse barn to a partial remodel of a local restaurant. As my experience with construction grew, I discovered how much I loved the job. I have continued to help out my mom by remodeling her current house from the basement on up, only now my son is the one asking questions.” Justin Fank
